Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited on Kingfisher Cargo:

  • Currency
  • Drugs & Narcotics
  • Firearms, parts thereof and Ammunition
  • Liquids and Semi-Liquids
  • Philately items
  • Radioactive material
  • Commodities banned by law at any given time without prior notice
  • Pornography
  • Bullion
  • All IATA restricted items
  • All classes of Dangerous Goods, except class 9 (Toxic & Infectious substances), for flights within India and from India to any international destination.
  • Following classes of Dangerous Goods for flights from Overseas Origin to any destination within India.
    • Class 1 – Explosives
    • Class 2 – Gasses ( Toxic ) Div 2.3 only
    • Class 4 – Flammable solids
    • Class 7 – Radioactive Material.
  • Carriage of AVI shipments on all sectors serviced by Kingfisher network
  • HUM and WET shipments on sectors serviced by ATR aircraft.

Restricted Items:

The following items are restricted on Kingfisher Cargo


  • Single package acceptance:

    • For A330 –  click here to check weight and dimensional limitations on ULDs

    • For Airbus 319/320/321 – 175 Kg (with pallet) & 120 Kg (without pallet)
    • For ATR 72/42-500 – Not more than 50 Kg
  • Oversized packages, maximum dimension accepted is 120 X 42 X 36 (In inches)
  • Commodities banned by law at any given time and without prior notice

Additionally

Kingfisher Cargo reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any shipment which would likely to cause delay or damage to the aircraft or personnel without assigning any reasons.
