2. What is the difference in services offered by Kingfisher Cargo and Kingfisher Xpress?

Kingfisher Cargo is available for transportation of goods from Airport to Airport. The shipment needs to be dropped at the local cargo warehouse and booked for the destination city. At designated destination, the consignee (receiver) needs to come to the cargo warehouse and collect it on producing valid photo identification.

Kingfisher Xpress is India’s first Same Day Door to Door service. The service is currently available within India. To know more, visit www.KingfisherXpress.com


3. What is the procedure for booking domestic cargo at the local warehouse?

Please follow below steps to book shipment with Kingfisher Cargo:
(I) Cargo needs to be brought at the local warehouse atleast 03 hours before departure of the flight.
(ii) Instructions for dispatch of goods and Security Declaration form needs to be filled. Our staff will assist you in filling up these forms.
(iii) Freight charges need to be paid in either by cash or demand draft.

4. Can International cargo be booked across the counter at the local warehouse?

No. International cargo can only be booked through an IATA clearing agent. For more details, contact

6. What are the guidelines that need to be followed for packing?

Packing material used for each package should be able to withstand all conditions during normal handling procedures. It should also avoid injury to people handling the shipment and damage to equipment and aircraft. During monsoon, cargo must be poly packed to avoid water seepage and damage.

7. What are the different types of cargo carried by Kingfisher Airlines?

8. What commodities are restricted for carriage on Kingfisher Airlines?

Dangerous Goods class 1, 2 4 & 7 , Liquids, Drugs and Narcotics , Fire Arms, Explosives , Valuable shipments and All IATA restricted items and commodities banned by law at any given time without prior notice.

10. Does Kingfisher Airlines carry Live Animals?

No. Kingfisher Airlines does not carry Live Animals.

11. What are the guidelines for booking Human Remains?

Human remains will be accepted for carriage on an airport to airport basis subject to advance bookings being made till final destination. Human remain must in all instances be embalmed and enclosed in a hermetically sealed metal container and then be placed in a stout wooden leak-proof coffin. Information on documental requirements for booking Human Remains is available at local cargo offices.
Note: Human remains are not carried on sectors serviced by ATR aircrafts.

12. Is there any limitation on weight per piece?

Yes. For all domestic sectors serviced by A321, A320 and A319 aircraft the maximum weight per piece is 175 Kg (with pallet) & 120 Kg (without pallet's) and for sectors serviced by ATR aircraft, maximum weight per piece is 50 kgs. For international sectors serviced by A330,please refer ULD specifications under section Guide or click here
